FM-MFm Membrane Microfilter

The FM-MFm membrane microfilter is an integrated cleaning device that supports both standalone and combined operation. Raw water flows into the water inlet tank and is guided onto a rotary drum fitted with folded filter screens, which are easy to replace. The minimum mesh size of the filter cloth can reach 10 microns.

The rotary drum rotates slowly to form a filter cake membrane on the filter cloth, greatly boosting filtration efficiency. When the filter cake moves to the top of the drum, it is flushed down by compressed air or high-pressure water into the internal recovery tank. Afterwards, the filter screen is cleaned by self-cleaning sprays to start the next filtration cycle.

This equipment prevents damage to fibers during long-term treatment. It can separate high-quality fibers from unwanted fillers and fine particles for subsequent biochemical treatment, while maintaining low solid content to ensure efficient operation of the wastewater treatment system.

It is equipped with an automatic control system and can also be connected to the DCS system of paper mills for convenient operation.

Main Functions

1. Recover fibers and raw materials, and replace fresh water with recycled clean water.

2. Improve the effluent quality of existing white water recovery systems, multi-disc filters and DAF dissolved air flotation units to produce ultra-clean water.

3. Treat filtrate from screw presses, white water recovery units and filters to recycle fibers.

4. Separate sludge from pulping wastewater.

5. Pre-treat pulping black liquor to protect evaporators.

6. Pre-concentrate biological sludge.

7. Increase the capacity of existing wastewater treatment systems or serve as pre-treatment for wastewater treatment.

8. Used for post microfiltration in biological wastewater treatment to meet discharge standards.

9. River water treatment.
